Operation “You’ve Got Mail”, a prostitution sting, was conducted in the Tunica County Resort Area over this past weekend, which netted the arrest of seventeen (17) females by the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office. The arrests came in an array of charges; Prostitution, Disorderly Conduct, Simple Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Arrest, to name a few.
Local law enforcement follows these persons of interest on Facebook, Instagram, Kik Messenger, Craigslist and Twitter.
Tunica County Sheriff’s Office shall always take a proactive approach while investigating prostitution and all other crimes. Prostitution is the gateway to other crimes such as thefts, robberies, drugs, assaults as well as the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
