Severe Weather Expected March 24, 2023
03/23/2023

There's an increased risk for tornadoes for most of the state from late Friday afternoon into the overnight hours.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected Friday afternoon into
the overnight hours across the Midsouth with the strongest storms
most likely across northwest Mississippi. Damaging wind, flooding
rain, hail and tornadoes are all possible with these storms.
Warmer temperatures have arrived in the Midsouth and look to be
here to stay for at least the next 7 days. No subfreezing
temperatures are expected with high temperatures mainly in the 60s and 70s through the middle of next week.
