Arrest Made Following Burglaries

On Monday, March 10, 2025, the Tunica County Sheriff's Office assisted the Town of Tunica Police Department to serve a search warrant on a residence located on Cumberland Street in Tunica County, MS in reference to a number of recent reported burglaries.

 

During the search, items were located inside the residence consistent with items that were reported stolen from the burglaries that occurred in the Town of Tunica on March 10, 2025.

 

The individual in possession of the stolen items was arrested. The individual has been identified as a 17-year-old black male. Due to the age of the individual, his name is not being released.

 

While on scene, officers made contact with the juvenile's mother. The mother was determined to have an outstanding warrant. The mother was arrested and transported to the Tunica County Jail.
