This Autism Awareness Day, Tunica County Sheriff's Office is sharing the resources available to those with autism in our community to assist in interactions with law enforcement, ranging from a car crash to a missing person case.

TCSO has Emergency Information Cards, on which parents or guardians can write down essential information, such as name, birthdate, address, emergency contact information and hooks or triggers for emergency personnel to be aware of during their interactions.

Emergencies can be stressful for everyone, and TCSO continually looks for ways we can best serve all citizens. Providing a way to communicate essential information can help these interactions go a bit more smoothly for all. If you would like to receive a card, visit our front lobby!
